First Choice Homes Project at a glance

First Choice Home Oldham (FCHO) is responsible for Oldham council’s social housing stock. In 2011 they identified the need for a three storey purpose built headquarters situated on Union Street to accommodate FCHO’s 450+ employees. The new development wast to form part of Oldham Council’s wider regeneration plan within the area.

The overall interior design of the building was to offer an enhanced customer experience. Jenkinsons were appointed to provide furniture for the new building. Jenkinsons project team(under the guidance of Martin Baker), worked closely with Architects 5 plus and FCHO to provide product suggestions that enhanced and complemented the innovative design of the building.
